Akale

PLATFORM TERMS

Clear boundaries from pilot idea to confirmed booking.

Pilot concepts remain research, not travel offers. Only a departure explicitly marked as open, with dates, availability, full price, inclusions, cancellation policy and responsible operator details, can enter the booking flow.

01

Concepts and published departures are different

Pilot routes, durations and descriptions may change or never launch. A published departure uses its own dated itinerary, price, audience, capacity, inclusions, exclusions, supplier position and booking terms. Do not rely on a concept page as a confirmed travel arrangement.

02

Accounts, holds and confirmation

An account, travel preference or saved concept does not reserve a seat. An eligible booking flow may place a short inventory hold using server-confirmed availability and price. A booking is confirmed only when the platform records the required cleared payment and shows confirmed status, subject to the departure’s stated minimum-group conditions.

03

Community and matching

Future-trip matching, social profiles, group messages, polls, memories and meetups are coordination features. Users must share only content they are authorised to share, respect consent and privacy, and avoid harassment, dating solicitation, commercial promotion or unsafe arrangements. Akale may restrict content or accounts to protect travellers and the service.

04

Safety tools have limits

Check-ins, trusted contacts and time-limited location sharing can support coordination, but they do not guarantee safety, continuous monitoring or an emergency response. In an urgent situation, contact the local emergency service and the published Akale trip contact directly.

05

Price, payment and records

The checkout summary shows the applicable currency, base amount, room cost, discounts, taxes, fees and total before acceptance. Payment must use the provider opened by Akale’s protected checkout. The account booking record, provider receipt and accepted policy version should be retained for reference.

06

Changes, cancellations and refunds

The specific departure policy controls traveller cancellation, minimum-group cancellation, material itinerary changes, credits and refunds. A cancellation request does not itself cancel a booking or promise a refund. Akale operations must review it, communicate the outcome and record any approved refund through the original payment process where possible.

07

Traveller and supplier responsibilities

Travellers remain responsible for accurate details, valid documents, visas, insurance when required, arrival on time, health and accessibility disclosures relevant to safe participation, and respectful conduct. Akale, hosts and suppliers have different responsibilities that must be identified in the published departure terms.

08

Content, images and external links

Akale’s original brand and website content may not be reused as if it were your own. Travel photographs are credited to their creators where shown. External websites have their own terms and practices, and Akale is not responsible for their content.

09

Use the website responsibly

Do not misuse accounts or forms, probe other travellers’ data, attempt to disrupt inventory or payment flows, submit information you are not authorised to provide, or create speculative reservations that prevent genuine bookings.
